I didn't realize it had been so long since my last post. Oh well, much has happened since then. Knox crawled at 7 months. It's like the light switch came on then. He quickly started pulling up and I would hear him banging on his crib in the mornings (almost always with a smile). He now has eight teeth. He is a fun child. There are days where we will crack each other up. Who knew a 9 month old could be so funny! Last week he started full on walking and now he wants to walk every where. Here are some pics to prove it
December was a busy month for us. Well I think it started at thanksgiving and then didn't slow down. I must admit I longed for a quiet Christmas. I had these plans to really prepare my heart during Advent to take time to hope in the coming of our King. But the season started and I lost focus. I'm still getting used to being a mom and all that entails. Just the day to day life of staying home and being needed 24/7 is a wonderfully tiring experience. But I'm starting to not be so tired and my head is starting to clear. I feel the Lord's presence more in my life these days(though it is not due to my spending much time seeking Him). My son is growing so fast and is such a peaceful fun child. I'm sure most parents feel the same about theirs. He laughs, smiles and loves eskimo kisses. Daddy is his favorite toy and I hope that it stays that way for years to come. I love watching them play and interact. He's starting to sit up on his own and is eating solids (albeit some days better than others). He not only has one tooth coming in but i discovered the second one today. We are getting ready to move for the 3rd time since being married. Daniel has been busy getting the house ready.sanding and refinishing hardwoods is a big undertaking but was a must- that brown shag had to go. With all that said hopefully that will excuse my lack of sending a christmas card- i had the best intentions we even took the picture but it just didn't get done. So here is to a happy new year!
